Although this was recorded in 1992 it is still quite relevant. Yes, the course has been revised and we do recommend the latest version. For that reason we recently cut the price of this in half. There are still a lot of great exercises and motivation tips here not found in the current version of the course. It is recommended that you use this program as supplemental material for today's version of The Complete Basic Course. It doesn't matter whether you just want to learn to play guitar or to become a better guitarist. This course is easy enough for beginners yet challenging for advanced players. This is the original version of The Complete Basic Course on DVD. It's divided into six Levels and is available in this three DVD set. Each level includes a guitar tab booklet. This is perfect for electric guitar but also works with acoustic. It doesn't just teach heavy metal. It's also great for classic rock, hard rock and blues guitar.
